Rosco’s audio kit fills the gap between OEM camera systems that do not offer sound / audio feedback from the rear of the vehicle in backup operations, and the added safety of the driver “hearing the scene” behind the vehicle.  Fleets with top safety programs and training have depended on audio feedback for drivers who at times may not be focused on the camera monitor image in reverse.  The audio sound of a person, vehicle, or other indicator behind the vehicle in reverse may be the difference between a safe operation and a catastrophic tragedy.  Rosco’s STSK4630P audio kit has all the components necessary for a complete installation.  The kit includes a small IP67/69 rated microphone for placement at the rear of the vehicle inclusive of a 20mm hole saw drill bit, 33’ of harness, a driver speaker with adjustable volume, and all connections for power and reverse trigger.
