This van extension arm and guard housing is designed to position a rear camera in the optimal location for unobstructed viewing of the rear bumper and danger zone behind the vehicle.  Many van doors slope in toward the roof thus presenting a mounting challenge for cameras which must be set back on the roof location.  This set back causes a viewing angle issue with the camera and inability to monitor the danger zone immediately adjacent to the vehicle bumper.  The STSG105B will solve these challenges by extending the camera up and over the doors.  The arm and guard housing are made from extruded and stamped aluminum and are designed for installation on horizontal mounting surfaces.   The components are finished in durable black polyester applied through a state of the art powder coating process, and the housing also doubles as added protection against sunlight and other weather concerns.  The part also includes mounting hardware, roof reinforcement plates, and installation instructions.  This part number is applicable to the Rosco STSC141 camera only, or Rosco kits STSK5465 and STSK7465.
