Rosco to Showcase the Dual-Vision™ XC Continuous Video and Automotive Event Recorder at the EMS Today Conference in Baltimore, MD

QUEENS, NY--(Marketwired - February 24, 2015) - Rosco Vision™ Systems, an automotive vision safety leader in backup camera systems, mirrors, and automotive camera recording, will be exhibiting at the upcoming EMS Today Conference and Expo hosted in Baltimore, MD, February 26 - 28th (Booth #724). The EMS conference hosted by JEMS -- Journal of Emergency Medical Services -- showcases the latest technologies and advancements in healthcare, public service and emergency rescue sectors. Already a prominent name in the commercial bus, school bus, and military vehicle industries, Rosco is emerging in the fire & rescue market as well. In a high stress work environment such as a firehouse or ambulance depot, safety is critical. The Dual-Vision™ XC is Rosco's premier continuous video and automotive event recorder (AER) and is engineered to improve fleet safety. The XC devices capture interior and exterior footage, supply GPS information, and offer instantaneous feedback to drivers.

The recording device mounts to the inside of the windshield and provides a clear 310° view of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. The Dual-Vision™ XC offers 160+ hours of continuous video recording and identifies 3 types of events: Speed, G-Force, and Driver Event Button. Now available with a third camera option, the Dual-Vision™ works with most Rosco backup, side and interior cameras. A continuous recording system for commercial vehicles allows fleet managers to monitor dangerous driving habits as well as safe driving practices; it serves as a crucial training tool for both fleet managers and drivers. The XC also assists commercial drivers in following federal laws regarding distracted driving and hand-held devices. Failure-to-comply fines negatively impact drivers and businesses, with potential fees in the thousands of dollars.

The newest feature for the Dual-Vision™ XC is the Wi-Fi downloading capability. The Dual-Vision™ Auto Download System (ADS) automatically downloads data files from the Dual-Vision™ XC device to your computer via a Wi-Fi network connection at your vehicle depot. The process is as simple as configuring the Dual-Vision™ XC firmware to transfer its video files to a specific IP address where the ADS server resides.

"Over the past 5 years, Rosco has become the leader in windshield based automotive event recorders through its ability to offer a continuous and event video-based solution with no monthly fees," said Peter Plate, Rosco's Director of Sales & Marketing. "Rosco continues to invest in its products and services, resulting in new innovations that focus on preventing risky driving behavior and protecting fleets from false insurance claims."
