Rosco to Cut the Ribbon on Building Addition in October

Jamaica, N.Y., August 1, 2004 – Rosco expects to cut the ribbon in October on the 50,000-square-foot addition to its manufacturing plant in Jamaica. The plant addition will enable the company to expand operations, add in-house injection molding, and increase its distribution center to meet growing demand.

“The plant addition will allow us to serve existing customers better by providing us the space to bring operations to a common location that have previously been outside our main plant,” said Sol Englander, president of Rosco. “That gives us the flexibility to continue to meet demand for increasingly quicker product development cycles, and it will allow Rosco to continue to lead the industry in custom designed mirrors and visual safety systems.”

Rosco, Inc., based in Jamaica, N.Y., celebrates its 100th year in business in 2007. The company was founded in 1907 as A.W. Rosen & Co., to produce parts for the fledgling automotive business. Today, Rosco continues to serve the same industry, producing mirrors, visors and other visual safety systems for the heavy automotive and commercial vehicle markets.
