Rosco Registers for ISO 9001-2000 Certification

Jamaica, N.Y., March 1,2005  - Rosco, Inc. passes first ISO 9001:2000 audit and registration process. As a near 100 year old company, Rosco’s quality system previously in place was a tough habit to break, but thanks to the dedication of an ISO team consisting of all employees, Rosco is now officially ISO 9001:2000 registered. Rosco’s Quality Manager, Ken Zingman, headed the process of transforming Rosco from a company which at times leaned toward the “old way of doing things” to a company which is now highly documented and procedure based. “Although we have only been registered to the ISO standard for less than one month, we can already see the benefits in every facet of our business from the creation of a new cutting edge mirror product, to the improvement of a single washer” said Zingman. Rosco’s Vice Presidents Ben Englander and Danny Englander drove the project with top down commitment in the face of the company’s massive efforts to simultaneouslyexpand into a newly constructed space adjacent to their old facility.
