Queens, NY - November 19, 2012 – Rosco has developed a new backup camera and rearview mirror system to reduce blind spots and increase safety on Ford Transit Connect Commercial Vehicles.
The Smart-Vision™ STSK4530 backup camera system is specifically designed for small to medium size vehicles and utilizes an interior rearview mirror to display a 4.3” LCD monitor that appears automatically when the vehicle is in reverse operation. The Ford Transit Connect heavy duty rearview mirror system offers a generous mirror viewing area on two separately adjustable mirror heads and allows drivers to optimize angles and locations to cover all blind spots and danger zones.

The Smart-Vision™ STSK4530 backup camera system provides added Convenience and safety with simple replacement of the OEM mirror. This monitor allows the driver to automatically see behind the vehicle, and once the vehicle is shifted to all other modes of vehicle operation a normal full mirror view appears. The camera has an advanced CMOS lens sensor able to process excellent images in all light conditions and a 170° diagonal field of vision for superb coverage behind the vehicle. The system is weather proof with a IP67 rating, shock resistant, comes with a one (1) year warranty, and when installed properly, complies with latest NHTSA 49 CFR Parts 571 & 585 (RIN 2127-AK43) which requires backup safety cameras on certain vehicles.
